Teacher
I went to high school in Vidalia, Louisiana where I graduated from Vidalia High School in 2001. I attended college at the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM) where I received both my Bachelors and Masters in Early Childhood Education.
I have been blessed to be a part of the Calhoun Elementary family since 2007. I was extremely blessed to teach Kindergarten for my first 5 years here. After those 5 years, I was then moved to 2nd grade, where I am currently in my 7th year of 2nd grade.
I am married with 2 wonderful fur babies. My students LOVE to hear stories about my sweet pups, Tanner and Tuff.
I feel that I am blessed beyond measure to be able to do the greatest job in the world every single day! Teaching is a true calling and a true blessing. It is an honor and a privilege to be able to shape the future one child at a time! Teaching is the job that creates all other job…...Because of a teacher we are all who we are today!
I am a lover of many things: God, family, friends, my dogs, my students, hunting, and the beach just to name a few!
