I went to high school in Vidalia, Louisiana where I graduated from Vidalia High School in 2001.  I attended college at the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM) where I received both my Bachelors and Masters in Early Childhood Education.

I have been blessed to be a part of the Calhoun Elementary family since 2007.  I was extremely blessed to teach Kindergarten for my first 5 years here. After those 5 years,  I was then moved to 2^nd grade, where I am currently in my 7^th year of 2^nd grade. 

• In college I completed my block rotations in the Monroe City School System at BarkDull Faulk Elementary and Berg Jones Elementary. 
• My student teaching was completed in Kindergarten at Calhoun Elementary in Kindergarten and at Drew Elementary in 2^nd grade. 
• I have tutored many children prior to and during my teaching years.  

I am married with 2 wonderful fur babies.  My students LOVE to hear stories about my sweet pups, Tanner and Tuff.
